The Aegis program is looking for an experienced Systems Network Engineer to drive design, development, integration, configuration management, transition planning, acceptance testing and deployment activities. You will be responsible for design, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance and all documentation required for the network supporting the Aegis, SSDS, and other development programs. This position requires strong problem solving skills focused on Network Engineering and Systems Engineering/Integration. You will assess existing legacy architectures, recommend improvements, and troubleshoot and resolve network issues. You will be developing and/or managing new computer network architectures that are compliant with US Government security accreditation standards. 
Our team is looking for an experienced Systems / Network engineer with expertise in Cisco networks. In this role you will be a member on a team to design, develop, integrate and test network products. This involves working with other developers on the team as well as subcontractors, and verification team. You will support customer design reviews, Q&A, and project status on all aspects of network development. You will also support the product owners on product deliveries.

Basic Qualifications:
•Previous Cisco and/or Juniper Network Engineer experience including network installation, integration and troubleshooting.
•Experience and understanding of Routers/Switches and Firewall configuration and the design and development for new and existing systems

Desired Skills:
Security Certification 
Security Review of policies, standards, and procedures that align with the National Institute of Technology (NIST) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Use of various vulnerability tools and scanners to ensure reduced attack surfaces and limit or eliminate network reconnaissance on networked systems. 
Configuration of routers, switches, and other network equipment, and test for security compliance
